Open
Book Costing: All schemes are based on transparency. Using an open
book style transaction, wood-link can demonstrate its independence while
showing our ability to obtain the best market prices at lowest production
costs. All prices, from the cost of felling and extraction through haulage
and supervision, to the final sale price will be detailed for you before
commencement. Felling will not commence until you are satisfied with the
returns.

Flexibility:
It is the grower who decides when to market the timber. Not Euroforest,
not the sawmill, not the pulp or board mill, but YOU. As a wood-link partner
we will know your planned production and price requirements, and because
of our strong links with industrial users we can direct any increase in
their demand quickly and efficiently to you. Within the scheme we can
offer a range of selling options.

Unique
Regional Price Index: A price index specific to your local area is
available in the Partners area of this web site. The index covers the
principle commodities traded in the four major geographical areas of Great
Britain. In addition, the mean selling price of all timber sold by euroforest
is presented, along with 3 and 6 month projections. This aims to allow
wood-link partners to make informed choices about when to sell their timber,
based on general price trends. It also assures you as a wood-link partner
that you are receiving comparable prices.

Minimal
Transaction Cost: Due to the reduction in risk to both the grower
and the purchaser, legal and general costs are greatly reduced, and hence
the return to the grower is maximised. This is one of the major benefits
of a true partnership.

FSC

via our forest management partner. |
